Development Policies and Characteristics

Our programs for the graduate students aim to reflect on advanced theories and practices.  Graduate students who are or will-be special education teachers are expected to integrate scientific skills in teaching and to focus on variant teaching strategies and thus to improve their professions.  They are also expected to improve the abilities for developing advanced courses for their exceptional children.  To reach these goals, SPED department take efforts in (1)designing and revising courses along with trends of special education in Taiwan and in developed/advanced nations; in (2)making connections with outstanding special education departments or institutes in Taiwan and in developed/advanced nations and thus cooperation in research and exchanging programs would be actualized.
