On December 6, 2025, the school organized an off-campus educational trip primarily for international students to the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village to experience Indigenous culture. During the visit, international students explored cultural exhibition areas of different tribes, enjoyed traditional Indigenous song and dance performances, and participated in guided tours, gaining in-depth understanding of the historical background, lifestyles, and cultural heritage of Taiwan’s Indigenous peoples. This hands-on experience helped international students better understand local Taiwanese culture and enhanced cross-cultural exchange and learning outcomes. The trip was well planned and smoothly conducted, not only strengthening international students’ sense of connection to Taiwan’s multicultural society, but also clearly demonstrating the school’s achievements in promoting cultural integration and diversity education for international students.

2025/11/26 International Festival

The Office of International Affairs’ Overseas Student Affairs Section, together with the Overseas Chinese Student Association (OCSA) and the International Student Association (ISA), jointly held the 2025 International Cultural Festival on November 26, 2025, at the International Exchange Village of National Chiayi University’s Lantan Campus. This year’s event, themed “The Beauty of Foreign Cultures, Gathering in Chiayi,” invited international students and scholars from various countries to gather at NCYU. Through cultural performances, culinary exchanges, and cross-cultural interactions, participants showcased the diverse and harmonious beauty of global cultures. The event featured a rich variety of activities, including an ethnic costume fashion show, language and cultural interactive booths, and culinary experiences. In addition, students from Vietnam, Indonesia, and Malaysia took to the stage to showcase their singing talent and artistic performances.

2025/11/20 School Sports Day

The opening parade of the school sports day, held on November 20, 2025, was successfully completed, with the international student delegation delivering a particularly impressive performance. The international students entered the venue with great enthusiasm, well-organized and creative formations, and distinctive costumes and movements. Continuous applause and cheers filled the venue, effectively energizing the atmosphere and highlighting a strong sense of participation and cultural diversity. The overall procession proceeded smoothly and in good order, not only demonstrating international students’ engagement and sense of belonging to campus activities, but also clearly showcasing the school’s significant achievements in promoting campus internationalization and multicultural exchange.
