The Master Program

The Master Program for the Department of the Department of Early Childhood Education

The program seeks to provide a diverse curriculum and high quality teaching, research, and community services to foster professional researchers and practitioners in the field of early childhood education

Curriculum

Coursework covers various aspects of early childhood education, including policy, child development, parenting, curriculum and instruction, and research methodology. The program is designed to cultivate professional ability in early childhood education and to train students in their areas of specialization, with balanced emphasis on theory and practice

Future Development

Our ongoing objectives are to enhance the students' research ability, to develop community service networks, to prepare students for professional careers in early childhood education, to hold international conferences and symposiums, and to promote cooperative research and exchanges with other institutions in and overseas.

4. Encourage this department a full-time teacher to lead a graduate student application National Science Council project, and encourage the research team that the graduate student participates a teacher.

6. Apply for actively Department for Education, Ministry of the Interior etc. carry on a research together

Graduates can find employment as researchers, teachers, and educational consultants.

Graduates of our program enter careers as teachers of early education and primary school, researchers in state agencies, directors of early childhood programs or day care centers, and child development consultants. Most of our graduates take higher positions in the early childhood field and their good reputations prove their efforts and excellent performance.

Potential Career Plans for Graduates

Students can expect to be employed in research institutes as

2.Writers, editors or professional staffs in educational press companies.

3.Consultants in early childhood educational fields.

4.Teachers or instructors in schools.

Students may consider pursuing doctoral degree in the program of early childhood education, graduate institute of elementary and secondary education at NCYU or in other universities after graduation
