The main goal of the department is to foster the holistic development of professional educators, and to cultivate students' basic knowledge, beliefs, skills and professional work ethics. The main teaching objectives are designed to meet the needs in the following directions:
1. To cultivate and enhance students¡¦ childcare expertise for teaching and caring young children.
2. To develop students¡¦ aptitudes and interests, assist them to construct the second specialty in one of the following areas: special preschool children and after-school program for 0-12 year olds.
3. To cultivate students¡¦ humane values, including the willingness to devoting teaching services, the courage to seeking challenges, and commitment to leaning.
