The Language Center has one director, three division chiefs and three assistants. The members and responsibilities of the Center are as follows:

The Director's Office

• Supervision of all affairs of the Language Center.
• Making long term development plans of the Language Center.
• Review and revision of the Center's development plans, regulations and rules.
• Holding internal meetings of Language Center.
• Other related affairs from NCYU.

Division of Foreign Languages

• College English curricula design and administration.
• College English course waive and drop/add affairs.
• English substitute online courses on the internet.
• English self-access, remedial instruction and peer-tutoring programs.
• Foreign language contests and activities.
• Acquisition and management of software, books, and magazines related to foreign language learning.

Division of Chinese as a Second Language

• Design and instruction of Chinese curriculum for international students at NCYU.
• General affairs related to CSL program.
• Promotion of learning Chinese to foreigners of the community.
• Conducting CSL programs for different institutions.

Division of General Affairs

• Facilities management and budgets control.
• Management and maintenance of language labs and offices.
• Procurement, management and inventory of all properties.
• Management of official documents and emails.
• Providing reports requested by various meetings/offices.
• Conducting internal meetings of Language Center.
• Recruitment and evaluation of teachers.
• Center reports requested by various offices of the University.
