To integrate educational performance and to assist manufacturers academia-industry collaboration, and manage intellectual property rights and technological transfer results effectively. The center of promotion education is adjusted by innovation incubation center on August 1st ,2017.Renamed as " Office for Academia-Industry Collaboration and Continuing Education ", is engaged in promoting education, academia-industry cooperation, innovation incubation, intellectual property rights protection,and technology transfer promotion matters.
Through cooperation among industry, government, academia, and research institutions, NCYU contributes research results to society in order to become the service agent for counseling and promoting agricultural biotechnology in southwest Taiwan. It also holds workshops and exhibitions to help industry to resolve technical problems. Meanwhile, NCYU has endeavored to be concerned about the urgent needs of technical resources and support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the rapidly-changing environment. It has thus attempted to react to the mainstream-industry oriented biotechnological requirements and become an ideal green silicon island that has been advocated by the national government. It has also made efforts to provide enterprises with opportunities for innovation.
With the above-mentioned understanding of regional industries' developmental tendencies and needs, NCYU has established the Office for Academia-Industry Collaboration and Continuing Education by integrating the innovative features of the Teachers College, College of Humanities and Arts, College of Management , College of Science and Engineering, College of Life Science, and College of Veterinary Medicine. The Innovation Incubation Center of Office for Academia-Industry Collaboration and Continuing Education has been established to provide an excellent environment for research and training in bioagricultural technology enhancement and then to achieve the goals of technological heritage and entrepreneurial success.
