Professional Bachelor Program of Farm Management
Ideas and Distinguishing Feature
This bachelor program is established by the "Cultivating new generation agricultural workers scheme" under the Council of Agriculture policy. The aims of this program are not only to implement the development of the National Agricultural Personnel Policy and Regional integration of industry, government, and education but also to nurture personnel equipped with both professional management of self-farming and modernizing agriculture.
Faculty members
With the two project teachers of this program and all the teachers of the Agricul-natural Extension centers are our core faculties. More than forty teachers are from the College of Agriculture, College of Life Sciences, College of Science and Engineering, College of Management, and College of Veterinary Medicine as well as other related fields such as agricultural, horticultural, fishery, and animal husbandry production, processing, marketing, management, and smart agriculture will support and teach.
Courses
Our courses include Crop Production and Farm Management, Horticulture, Fish, and Animal Science. The program merges theory and practice and is equipped with both professional knowledge and technology training about engaging in agricultural science research, education, promotion, and industry management.
Our program also offers a four-year government scholarship. Students must complete a four-year production or management at a self-farm or agricultural enterprise after graduation and repay the public funds if they break the contract.
Careers
After graduation, students could be self-farming or work in professional agribusiness. In addition, students could also apply to domestic and foreign Master’s programs related to agriculture or business management.
